Utah Elopement Photographer for Couples Who’d Rather Explore Than Entertain
Abby Judd

I photograph intimate weddings and elopements, so that you can have a truly authentic, adventurous experience without feeling rushed or pressured. I know what it’s like to feel out of place or unsure of yourself, so I make it my mission to create a relaxed, fun environment where you can feel at ease. Whether you choose to hike in the mountains or catch the perfect sunset on the beach, I’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and free to be yourselves. My own journey with overcoming anxiety and building confidence has taught me how freeing it is to embrace vulnerability and I’m here to help you do just that on one of the most important days of your life.
I first picked up a camera over a decade ago, capturing landscapes through the Utah desert I call home. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a way to connect with people on some of the most meaningful days of their lives. After high school, I originally thought I wanted to be a pharmacist, but eventually left pharmacy school to chase my dreams and I’ve never looked back. Now, as a Utah elopement photographer with a love for the outdoors and real connections, I help couples create stress free, intimate wedding experiences in the beautiful outdoors.

These days, when I’m not photographing love in the great outdoors, you’ll find me starting my mornings with CrossFit and a serious coffee addiction. I might be guiding a hiking elopement in the red rocks of Moab or capturing golden hour portraits in Sedona, but no matter where we are, I bring a calm and grounded energy to every adventure. I’m a firm believer that capturing you and your partner in your element even when its a little messy, truly shows your love the best, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Random Facts

If I could live anywhere…
It would be Hawaii for sure. Any chance I get at a vacation and I will pick Hawaii every time! My dad is from Oahu so technically I am 1/2 Hawaiian. (;
This handsome fella next to me is my boyfriend of 9 years, Broc! Truly my best friend and ride or die. You might see him on occasions with me helping me with shoots!

Childhood…
I grew up in St. George Utah! I love the heat and those beautiful red rocks. I grew up going to Zion on the weekends and constantly exploring. This is why I have chosen to specialize in the Southern Utah area because it makes my soul feel alive!

Photography
I have been doing photography since I was just a little girl! I bought my very first “fancy camera” when I was 16 years old and have kept this dream of being a photographer ever since then.

Even though I am a warm weather girly…
The one way I have found I can get through winter is with snowboarding. I don’t love being cold, but I do love being up in the mountains and floating across the snow!
